As Chief Executive Officer of Red Rocks Fire Protection Services, Brian Kakac provides the strategic direction and leadership behind the company’s growth, culture, and commitment to protecting lives. With more than 30 years of experience in fire protection and life safety, Brian brings extensive industry knowledge along with decades of experience building and leading successful organizations.

Brian founded Red Rocks Fire Protection Services in 2010 with a clear vision: to build a company where customers are treated as partners, employees are treated like family, and life safety always comes before profits. Today, he oversees company growth, financial stewardship, long-term planning, business development, customer relationships, organizational culture, and leadership development.

Brian’s leadership philosophy is simple: people always come first. Influenced greatly by his late father, John, Brian believes in servant leadership, leading by example, and treating people with dignity and respect. That philosophy has helped shape the culture of RRFPS and its commitment to Safety, Advocacy, Character, Team Above Self, and One Family.

Brian remains actively involved with customers and his team, believing that leadership is demonstrated through action rather than title.

Outside of RRFPS, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, motocross, hunting, wakeboarding, restoring classic muscle cars, and enjoying Colorado’s outdoors and the family cabin.
